Hashimoto's?

I was diagnosed with autoimmune thyroiditis and adrenal insufficiency in 2008 by Dr Peatfield. I was on HC for while as NAX did not work for me. I changed my diet around and then weaned myself off HC.

It feels like the symptoms are returning and I have had a full Thyroid panel done by Medichecks. Everything apart from antibodies is off the scale. Can someone help me interpret these?

Could this be Hashimoto's?? Thank you.

CRP HS 1.9 mg/L (0-3)

Ferritin 89.6 ug/L (30-150)

Vit B12 Active 48.7 pmol/L (37.5-188)

Vit D 75.1 nmol/L (50-250 normal)

TSH 3.75 mlU/L (0.27-4.2)

Free T3 4.3 (3.1-6.8)

Free Thyroxine 12.8 (12-22)

Thyroglobulin antibodies 380 kIU/L (0-115)

Thyroid peroxidase antibodies 248 kIU/L (0-34)

Autoimmune thyroiditis is the same as Hashimoto's, so yes since 2008 and your high TPO/ TPA show your thyroid is still under attack

Your TSH is too high so you could do with an increase aiming for around 1

Your B12 and Vit D are both low aiming for mid range

What are you taking at the moment as an increase is needed which is why the symptoms are returning

Hi, Thank you. I'm not taking anything right now, just at the beginning of this new chapter in my life. It would be such a relief to have a diagnosis again, that explains my fatigue! My last diagnosis was yonks ago.

You don’t need a new diagnosis. You alarfay have one. It just needs treatment.
