Hi all, just got results back from latest NHS bloods. Any thoughts? This was primarily to try and 'verify' my private blood test results showing above-range TSH (6.1) and high antibodies. Test was done just before 9am, fasting, currently not on any meds, no biotin week before. I also asked for serum cortisol to be done based on recent Regenerus results showing cortisol well below range. GP also tested bone profile.
Unfortunately, TSH seems to be all the over the place - would that be because of the autoimmune activity (which has gone a bit crazy)? It is lower than last NHS test 6 weeks before, where it was just within range. Private tests where it was more elevated were done at 8am. So I won't be getting any NHS medication for thyroid. Cortisol was just below range, which should trigger an endo referral for a synacthen/ACTH test, but not bad at all considering the saliva results. I'm curious about the albumin though, which is just scraping into range - does that mean anything?
