I'm back again, my latest results but doc didn't seem to test t3 for some reason. My T4 and Tsh seems to be back in range but just regarding my vitamins levels, I've screen shot below if you could have a look, Doctor said my B12 is ok and report never highlighted it as being an issue, not sure but does it seem low and if so why wouldn't they say. Also vit d is a bit low and doc put me on 800mcg a day. My mood is still quite low, overthinking everything, don't know whether I've depression or just low mood, anxiety comes and goes but was very bad when my t4 was over 22 . I'm taking a supplement called Zenflore which is a pro biotic and had all the B vitamins in it. Anybody feel the same?
T4 15.6 (9.0 - 19.1)
Tsh 1.88 (.35 - 4.94)
Didn't do T3 this time for some reason 😕
Vit D 40 (25-50 insufficient)
Vit B 12+ Fol
(B12 in range 100-159 ng/L is indeterminate- interpret results in conjunction with fbc and clinical parameters. Vit B12 is not currently inab accredited. (No clue what this means)
B12 159 (120 - 650)
Foliate 5.0 (3.1 - 19.9)

It's says ferritin only but no numbers?
I am still on 75mcg levo and started 800 vit D and have to report I am feeling better. He has referred me privately to an endo for an opinion on what has been going on with me".
Did you test 24hrs after last dose levo, @ 9 am ? (if different let us know)
What date was this test done?, (did you have some results from November, or is this them ?)
Did you have a scan in Dec ?
You have autoimmune hypo, and previous dose was reduced a few times from original 125mcg ~ (due to symptoms / fT4 being over range @19.8 / then 22 ? despite a dose reduction), but fT4 has now come down .. and TSH has come back up quite a lot.
Your dose possibly needs increasing a bit now , but it might be difficult to get GP to agree as they will be worried an increase will send it over range again.
it is possible it went over range due to an autoimmune attack~ a Hashimoto’s swing (temporary release of excess thyroid hormones as thyroid cells break down) ....it seems they can sometimes last a few months, (my fT4 went over the top for few months) , but when they pass, the fT4 lowers again and quite often the dose needs increasing back again.
It is also possible it was related to having COVID IN APRIL . then going over range in June .. studies have shown Covid does seem to be capable of causing this in some people.
To help others .. a Previous summary from Slowdragon :
Looks like undermedication now, my mood has lifted with recent increase to 125mcg.
I had to take 4x what your gp is suggesting to get my Vit D from 50 to 70 over 3 months. As it’s winter you may want to read up … take a look at @seasidesusie posts for more info.
Taking a B complex and additional folate has helped me raise folate slightly. It is slow going.

I can't find where on their website it says how much of any vitamin it contains which means it's probably just a low dose and not enough to help if you do have low B vit levels. Also, it is not the active form of B12 or folate which wouldn't help many people. Better to buy a methyl or active B complex like Thorne Basic B. That said your levels are really low. Have you been tested for B12 deficiency? Low levels of B vits can cause mood issues. Actually stop taking anything with B12 in it until you sort out if you officially have a deficiency, you may well do.
Use a vit D calculator to work out how much you need to take daily. Your doctors recommendation is far too low.
You need a 25mcg Levo dose increase now. Your TSH is too high and should be below 1.
Thanks for your reply, these are the ingredients below in thr zenflore, I haven't been tested for a deficiency, Doctor said my b12 is ok but it looks low to me! I don't think he takes much notice of vitamins to be honest. Don't know how to say it to him that People on a forum no more then him lol.
As I thought it's a tiny amount. The amount of B12 in the B complex I take is 500ug, so barely worth it being in there, and it won't help a deficiency. BUT, if you want to get a diagnosis of B12 deficiency you shouldn't be taking anything containing B12 at all. Perhaps post over on the Pernicious Anaemia group here on HU to get advice as to how to deal with your GP. GP's a hopeless with vitamins, same as thyroid!
