Myo-inositol supplementation - if anyone tried for Hashimoto?

Just read the info that Myo-inositol regulates the levels of TSH and FSH (follicle stimulating hormone), as well as insulin. It also reduces cholesterol.

In the case of thyroid hormones, myo-inositol helps thyroid-hormone-producing cells become more efficient at building T4. Myo-inositol balances thyroid hormones and reduces TSH, as well as the TPO and Tg antibodies in blood.

Please share your experience if you tried this supplement and if it can be taken without a doctor advice.

Gal_Ka,

There have been positive reports of inositol use from forum members for numerous reasons including those you cite and others such as for PCOS. If you supply links to your research it will help open up further discussion.
