B12 blood test private

Hi❤️

I'm having a good look through my blood results after reading some posts regarding B12.. My surgery are unwilling to test vitamin and minerals along with thyroid 😠 but I've looked through my last 2 years of print outs and I've never had my B12 done🤷‍♀️ I know it will be futile asking my surgery to do it 😠 so looking in to getting it done privately many on here have mentioned medichecks ect, how do I go about getting this service? I will ask my surgery to do B12 but I known what the answer will be.. 😠

Go to Medichecks website, there is a link here with a discount code:

thyroiduk.org/help-and-supp...

Click on Order your test online to go to their website.

Do you want just B12 or a thyroid/vitamin bundle. They don't do a bundle just for key nutrients but you can have B12 done separately as Active B12.

Put B12 into the search box. - fingerprick test for just Active B12 is £39 less the discount if you use the code.

Advanced B12 includes lots of other tests too - Ferritin, Clotting Status, Red and White Blood Cell Counts, Folate and Active B12 and costs £87 but must be venous blood draw.

With Medichecks you pick one of their tests and can't add or subtract anything.

You might want to look at Thriva, I don't use them because I can't cope with how they do things, it seems as though you have to subscribe to having tests every so often (3 months?) and can add different things. You would have to remember to unsubscribe to avoid doing repeat tests you don't really want. Some members are happy with Thriva, I just can't be bothered looking into it, I don't want to subscribe/unsubscribe but it does give you a bit more flexibility I think.

Thriva link:

Remember to compare total price with Medichecks same test or bundle that includes what you want.

Hi seasideSusie 🌹I'm having thyroid blood tests done next week but I know my surgery won't do minerals and vitamins they haven't done them for sometime, well since covid, and they didn't even do them when I had PTH, calcium done, I'm going to ask but I won't hold my breath 😤 but if I do get them I'd just need B12.. Thanks for the link seasideSusie 🌹🌹🌹
