ECT results

I had ect years ago. My immediate result was calming but my memory & understanding was bad. Today, I still have memory issues. Anyone else have this experience. And I still have depression.

Cinetidine & Loratadine ect

I’ve noticed I don’t seem to have night sweats or certain other issues (feverish ache sensation) with my CLL when I take Claritin(Loratadine). Is that just me? I did some basic research and found that several drugs in this class including Tagamet are being researched as beneficial for cancer. Anyone

effects of ECT

I had a series of ECT treatment in. 2008. It was traumatic for my partner and parents but it did work alongside the psychotherapy & development of habits such as meditation. Our local health service no longer offers ECT at all, Probably a cost saving.

ECT for Bipolar Disorder

I’m new here so please be kind. I was diagnosed with Bipolar 1 about two months ago and I’m starting to think Lamotrigine is not enough. Has anyone ever tried electro-convulsive therapy? During a stint in a psych ward I saw this treatment help others but I’m honestly afraid of it.

Will and trust

I've approached Irwin Mitchell and they quoted £1500 but I know wills and trusts ect can be expensive. Could anyone point me in the right direction of good solicitors in Manchester or the surrounding areas? Thank you

Trying my best to finish this semester. I don't know if I can.

I have memory impairments from ECT and a learning disability so it's very very difficult to learn and retain information along with panic disorder. I have 2 more tests and 1 assignment and I want to give up. I know I can't. But it's so difficult not to throw the towel in. I just needed to vent.

TMS Therapy

I may see if I can stay off them for as long as I can, Hoping the worst is over for the withdrawal, its brutal but I had a lot of anxiety built up about over my first visit, an hour talking to the psychiatrist in charge, checking vitals ect. but a relief that part is over, just have to go for the therapy
