T3 Results

Good morning all. Asked for full panel bloods including vitamins and unfortunately only got vitamin D back which was 60 and classed as normal. I’m on Thyrogold 2 grains and keep waking with dead arms. Not the end of the world but my sleep is out of whack too. I took my dose in the morning and had my test 11 hours later. Didn’t go to the gym that day (I weight train generally 4-5 times a week. My T 3 came in at 4.5. Reference range not given but I’m 90% sure it’s 3.5 to 6.5. Time for a tweak maybe? I do feel overtired and low but nothing else. No heart bumps/constipation or feeling cold etc just knackered

Jodypody,

I don’t take glandulars so can’t comment on your results/dosing but Thyrogold doesn't come in grains but 150/300 mg tablets.

Therefore, the measures are not the equivalent to regulated NDT prescription meds such as Armour grains but according to STTM (I think) 150 mg equals about 1.25 grains. How much are you medicating?

Sleep problems can be due to adrenal issues and a skewed circadian pattern.

I aim for Vit D of 125 nmol/L (50ng/ml). Shame nothing else was tested, particularly iron which is essential.

Whoever you asked for a ‘full panel bloods’ should be able to supply the ranges which will encourage members to be more inclined to comment.

Hi. How long have you been on thyrogold now ?

I think around 9 months. Swapped straight across dose wise from the brand I was on and it was too much (3.5 grains) dropped to 2 and have put weight on only 7-10 pounds but still 😂. Have upped to 2 and a quarter based on the latest results which were done on a day when I didn’t weight train so I’m guessing it would be worst still on training days.
