… Comments on thyroid and nutrient tests would be welcome too

I have a phone consultation with GP tomorrow and because I don’t know what to make of my iron overload studies I don’t really to know what to ask her regarding re-testing. As you can see, apart from ferritin, which has dropped possibly due to a change in brand of iron) the others are going in the right direction; albeit slowly but they’re still all very low

In April 20 thyroid function tests were high and only just within range and I had a beautifully suppressed TSH. Funny though, in a separate printout the FT4/3 results showed as slightly over range. Anyway, a stressy endo lectured me about osteoporosis (the same one who advised an 8 week cessation of metavive that landed me with a stone in weight gain which I cannot shift) and prescribed levo, which I haven’t taken. Yet

The high in range results were as a consequence of increasing my metavive dose but unfortunately, I also started getting irregular heart beats, profuse sweating, high bp and headaches. This I believe was owing to the newly added nucleotides because before that, high doses of metavive gave me no horrible side-effects. I suppose they could also have been caused by being too high in the ranges. Anyway, I reduced the dose but this also saw a significant fall in my FT4 and 3 levels and more weight gain. For the last few years I’ve been about 10lbs overweight, now it’s a full 2st. I’m at the end if my wits about this but my priority at the moment is getting my iron overload in a better place and trying to understand why they’re not right

I take:

Iron B complex

Selenium D3 with K2 Zinc (soon to stop)

Magnesium (broad spectrum)

Beef liver (soon to stop)

Metavive and Adrenavive (phasing both out in favour of ones without nucleotides or possibly NDT )

I don't think I understand your post Noelnoel, your iron panel results look pretty good to me. Your TSH is so low that looks good too. Am I missing something?
