Please could somebody explain my latest results, I haven’t a clue, I have posted previously but can’t add previous results to for your comparison. I don’t understand why my antibodies are high, they weren’t previously.

Hypothyroid due to hemithyroidectomy, originally on 50 thyroxine, now 75 x

Any help would be greatly appreciated x

High antibodies are a sign that you have Hashi's - aka Autoimmune Thyroiditis - as SlowDragon suggested in your last post. The fact that they weren't high in the last test means nothing. Antibodies fluctuate all the time.

Your TSH is low, but that could be because you recently suffered an immune system attack to your thyroid, which would explain why your antibodies are now high. It will take a while for the TSH to catch up with the thyroid hormone levels.

However, your FT4 is high, and your FT3 is low, meaning that - like a lot of Hashi's people - you are a poor converter. Have you had your nutrients tested recently? Vit D, vit B12, folate and ferritin? You need optimal nutrients for optimal conversion. But, even so, that might not be enough to improve things, and you'll probably need T3 added to your levo. :)

O gosh thanks for that, I last had my nutrients checked April this year, see below, have been on iron tablets from doctors for 3 months but not made much difference ☹️

I would definitely want my B12 higher than that. It should be at least over 550.

Your ferritin is very low. Do you take vit C with your iron tablets to help absorption and prevent constipation? They say the best way to raise ferritin is to eat liver once a week, if you can do that - or liver paté, or black pudding.
