Well...
At face value, your new NDT isn’t working. At all.
And yet you say you feel fine? Either you’re about to feel very un-fine—or the test results are wrong.
Do you take biotin by any chance? I don’t think it would affect a test that much but it can affect the accuracy of thyroid blood test assays.
I think I’d be looking to test again. Just to make sure there hasn’t been a mistake.
I take tru thyriod been doing so for 2 month now. Didnt take any the day i took the test
Looking at other posts about Tru Thyroid here healthunlocked.com/search/p...
...you’re not alone in it not working for you.
Sorry Olsson87. Back to the drawing board, I guess.
I would be very worried about the complications of Myxedema with these levels. Please do not leave it another week or 2 you need to be on some sort of medication that can up your T4 and lower that TSH soon. To be honest with these results I would not trust that brand of NDT even if they tell you they can give you new mediaction.
I just started with my old meds again. They make me feel like a zombie but atleast my test results are good.... is there any way to get ndt these days?
I only take T4 so cant advise you on that but please do your due diligence and make sure that the supply is reliable and if possible regulated. There are alot of scams out there claiming to be NDT . I realise now that you have no Thyroid so even more important that you make sure the medication you get is legit and safe .
What are your old meds...Levaxin (T4)?WIth all the current problems (Thai NDT discontinued/unavailable), Tru Thyroid not working properly, many people look for alternatives but it seems difficult to find supplements that work as well in NDT in providing CONSISTENT hormone levels. Maybe synthethic T3 added to levo would be a better option for you right now, until the problems are sorted out. It seems Thyroid-S will be back in stock eventually but nobody knows why.
This is proof to me that levels of TSH and T4 do not necessarily correlate at all to a person's sense of physical health.
I hope you get new meds soon.
Ok, so this test was ordered by a doctor (no private testing)? And only the was TSH tested (not free Ts)?Does your doctor know you´re on NDT or does s/he think you are on levo? Sorry, I have not read your previous posts so maybe you´ve answered this before.
Yes its by a doctor they took free t4 and tsh. No he didnt know im on ndt since they dont know and agree with that here in sweden.. my t4 was 2
