welcome to the forum
Are you in the U.K.
I don’t think we have heard of Tillomed T3 before?
I have tagged
helvella who may know more
hi yes I am in the UK thank you for tagging
Can you add photo of this Tillomed new brand of 5mcg T3?
We haven’t heard of it before
What’s the ingredient list too?

I can only tolerate Morningside Lio but understand that 5mcg can be hard to source. GP agreed to put ‘Morningide only’ on prescription and stated I can have 10mcg which I cut in half with a pill cutter.
They also have milpharm brand but I’m scared to take them because they are pink, I can’t get Morningside anywhere in any MG
milpharm brand
Don’t think that’s liothyronine either
What is liothyronine?

Looking online Morningside make Carbimazole
So this underlines exactly why we ask you fill in profile info before first posting

Presumably you are on Carbimazole for HYPER thyroid (Graves disease)

I think I have filled it in now
Thankyou for alerting us SD.
Apologies Thyroidoverit i thought you were asking about Morningside Liothyronine (for hypothyroidism)
I don’t think we have ever had a post about a brand of Carbimazole
All posts that mention Morningside that I have ever seen refer to liothyronine/T3

Just underlines why it’s so important to have diagnosis information on profile
Hello Thyroidoverit :
So you are being prescribed an Anti thyroid drug to semi-block your own new daily T3 and T4 thyroid hormone production - so presume your are dealing with hyperthyroidism and an excess of thyroid hormones.
Have you been diagnosed or waiting on antibody blood tests ?
If you want any help with explanations of a diagnosis and / or blood test results - we can do that - and hopefully you will soon feel more comfortable -
and all the AT drug does is simply ' buy you time ' and semi blocks your new own daily thyroid hormone production while we wait for your immune system to calm back down again and hopefully your thyroid revert o normal without the need for any drugs.
I’ve been on and off of carbimazole now for 20 years I’ve always had either accord or Morningside just always fool awful on the pink ones and that’s what I can get, Milpharm.
Are you regularly retesting vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
What vitamin supplements are you taking
Dose should be adjusted by Ft4 and Ft3 results……never by TSH
