That sounds like all the right stuff, but most doctors recommend that you take your thyroid medication first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, and wait 30 mins before you eat anything. Then I think you could start your routine. And I can only speak for me personally, but based on all my reading and functional doctor's advice, I take all my vitamins/minerals twice a day at lunch and dinner. So I essentially "double" my dose of everything. The only thing you want to watch is Selenium and Iron. My vit/min routine is Multi-Vit (includes Selenium) + Fish Oil + Iron + Vit D + extra Zinc + extra Vit C + extra B12. I take them all together and I do this twice a day. I also take extra Magnesium Glycinate at night because it's relaxing and good for sleep. I've been doing this for a year and I feel pretty good. Hope this helps & good luck!
Any particular reason for that? B12 is usually taken sublingually, so it doesn't matter when you take it. But, when do you take your B complex?
Iron mid afternoon
Do you take vit C with your iron? You really should. It helps absorption and stops you getting constipated.
Calcium with evening meal
Why are you taking calcium? It's really not a good thing to take if you can avoid it. Besides, you're taking vit D, so that will increase your absorption of calcium from food. And, you really don't want to over-do the calcium. But, you should be taking vit K2-MK7, to make sure the extra calcium you're absorping from food goes into the teeth and bones, and doesn't build up in the soft tissues.
Thanks for posting this. I've been wondering about timing of supplements too. I take vit b complex at lunchtime and evening. Only I keep. Forgetting the evening dose. Is it OK to take one with breakfast?
