The information about H&B and Vitabiotics doesn't surprise me. I am a bit surprised about Natures Best because these are made by Lamberts which Dr P used to recommend (at least he did to me).

I did notice the article was published on 22 Mar 2019.

One would hope that the companies and products mentioned in the articles would have updated their products by now. Fingers crossed!

Yes, hopefully. The first two are still pretty naff brands though :)

Yes, I agree. :)

Any recommendations on which brands are better quality?

SeasideSusie has better info than me on the good brands. I tend to be restricted by price.

I use various brands so it depends what supplement you're looking for.

I've started gravitating towards mainly using Igennus brand. My doctor recommends Lamberts. Some people rate Piping Rock, but I've not tried them. I also discovered a brand called Barefoot Nutrition, but they're very pricy but I did notice a real difference using their magnesium, but I doubt I'll be able to keep that up due to the price.

I always contact them with questions to see if they know what they're talking about.

Why am I not surprised?

Interesting, I have used Natures Best in the past. I wonder what the others were that they tested.

Along a few pages, I found this on painkillers which interests me atm. I am going through pain after a traumatic tooth extraction earlier this week.

The dentist had told me to take ibuprofen and not paracetamol.

My sister (small and slightly built) passed out after taking Ibuprofen. I've tried to avoid all pharmaceuticals since......

The poor thing, hope she was ok.

I hope your pain disappears quickly. Sometimes we don't know what's worse i.e. toothache or no tooth!

Thanks Shaws, I didn’t have toothache to start with but certainly have it now, plus head and earache! I cracked my back upper tooth eating something hard. I had resisted having it out for a few months after the dentist said I had to. But in the end half broke off and then the filling dropped out. He had to wrestle the roots out with me gripping onto the arms of the chair for dear life. Eek! and I don’t ever want another one out.

xx
