I have looked at a few but they have Iodine in them and am I right in saying if you have hypo you should not take it.

I would like to take a really good combined vitamin and mineral supplement that has all the things in us hypo's need.

Many thanks browny

Is there a reason why this must be answered by PM? I'd be interested in any answers too.

Hi

I just thought brands and names etc. were not to be advertised on the forum.

If anyone does P.M. me I will then P.M. you the info.

It's fine to mention brands of OTC meds and supplements. It's prescription medicines being bought off scrip which need to be PM'd.

Nutri do a Thyro Complex which has lots of important stuff in it. I think it has a little iodine in it, but some is needed I believe, just not too much.

I'm trying thyroid strength which I have ordered from iherb. I'm only taking half a tablet each day though ( recommended 2 each day but they are quite big). I am plànning to get another blood test soon. Very confusing as I'm borderline hypo and one doc prescribed me levo but another 2 docs in the same surgery to me to come off it and just keep an eye.

Hi Many thanks for the discount code, do you feel better since taking them and are you on any thyroid meds?

I started taking them a few months ago (one a day) and they were giving me lots of energy and making me a bit hyper ( wasn't sleeping for too long) so I stopped and just started taking half a tablet each day for about a week now, can't really tell right now. I was on levo for a couple of weeks and then came off, so not on any thyroid meds. Will go and get my blood test in the next few weeks.
