I haven’t been on for awhile, but like many of us I’m worried about my NDT supply. 😔
I run out of Thyroid-S tomorrow, but still have 45 days left (at full dose) of Thiroyd.
I had been lowering my Thyroid-S dose the last few weeks to make it last a little longer, so was going to do the same with Thiroyd, but I’m wondering if it would be worth boosting it with a glandular?
But I have no idea which is a good one though?
I keep trying to research it, but get so confused on all the different options, esp with so many Metavive options! 🥴🙈
Just for completeness, my recent bloods by my GP in July (so no antibodies tested)
TSH 0.008 (0.35-4.94)
FT3 4.2 (2.9-4.9)
FT4 10 (9-19)

I am currently finishing up the last of my thiroyd tabs, sadly. Have ordered Tru thyroid which has been shipped but not arrived. So I am cutting down my thiroyd to make them last, but adding in metavive11 - each metavive1 is one quarter grain of ndt (roughly) and each metavive 11 is one half a grain of ndt - again roughly. So instead of 1 of my thiroyd tabs I am swapping for two metavive11 capsules. Not sure I would do what you are doing and cutting back your meds - my levels drop quite quickly if I do that, and then hard to get them back up again, especially when you are changing onto different meds. Its very hard swapping onto a new ndt at the best of times, but if your levels are already low it makes it much harder. I chose porcine metavive because I was already taking porcine ndt. Hope this helps somewhat.

Not sure where you've got that from, I haven't said I'm cutting back on meds, I've replied to your question about confusion about Metavive not asking for help 🤔
i have a few months nature throid left and wondering whether to add metavive ii
my other option is swap to 125 t4 and 15 t3 as suggested by private endo but this is a massive reduction as i’m on 4.5 grains ndt and i’ve already become very tired and overweight again!
