There is another NDT called NP Thyroid by Acella. Unfortunately, it will be much the same price as the others. It's a lucrative market!

I think many who already have purchased Nature-Throid are continung to use it, because the recall issue is one of potency, so it's theoretically possible to adjust dose according to how you feel. But of course, if you're already running low on tablets and need to re-order, that's not much help :(

Hi I paid recently £360 for 3 x 100 60mg For Erfa. (€390)

Is this expensive?

If it is expensive, I would really appreciate pm with details of cheaper provider

It depends how long this lasts you? I was paying around £250 for 4 grains a day for a 3 month supply. I know Thyroid S was much cheaper but you can’t get that now either.

I am going to try Metavice I think as it is so much cheaper and from the UK. Have a look and there is also some right ups on here about it.

Also take a look at <source name removed by admin as per posting guidelines> but you may get import charges on top which are around £30

My husband has been on Naturethroid, NP and now Armour over the last 6 years. Naturethroid worked good and then it didn't, but price was reasonable. Then his Dr. switched him to NP...price again was good, but about a years ago, it didn't seem as potent and my husbands #s started to go south, so his Dr. switched him to Armour and as of his last bloodwork his #s are much better again. His T3 still needs to come up so his dr. added an additional 15 mg to his 120. These have to be in 2 separate pills cause Armour doesnt make 135 mg tablets. All of this is costing around $200. for 90 days. We're in US. Without question it is expensive and our insurance does not cover it. My husband has very serious health issues that all started when a different Dr. put him on Levo years ago after he had taken the original Armour back in the 70's and 80's. He doesn't convert T4 into T3. There have been recent recalls on Naturethroid and NP thyroid. We don't have an alternative at this point.

It will be $458 plus import tax or $800 with my private prescription in the UK which is total madness. These pharmaceutical companies are corrupt! Going to try Metavive I think.
