After being really well for 2 years on Naturethroid I ran out in February and had to find an alternative as there was a production problem ( I purchase myself due to doctors incompetence) after some research I switched to Thiroid and have gone downhill hill very slowly and have now completely crashed!! My question is... Naturethroid is now back in stock but I’ve heard people are having serious problems with it. Has anybody else here had a problem with new stock !
Yes I have. I've gradually had more and more muscle stiffness, pain, tiredness and anxiety - although it's difficult to tell if that's caused by the Nature-Throid or by me worrying about it! My blood levels show that as my endo has increased my dose since the start of the year, my FT4 has gone up but my FT3 has gone down, not very low but enough to feel worse and enough for the endo to realise something wasn't right. I'm now taking 3.5 grains a day, the highest I've ever taken, and my FT3 is where it was when I was first building up my dose of Armour 13 years ago and had reached 2.5 grains, and it's lower than when I tried an experiment 6 years ago and dropped ERFA to 2.25 grains. I've noticed over the years that each brand alters my levels in some small way, but this latest Nature-Throid is definitely sub-potent as regards T3.
I've contacted RLC labs several times and they've always replied until my latest email, which included the details of my latest blood test and which they haven't responded to. According to their Facebook page a lot of people are complaining and I guess they're wondering what to do about it.
Well I have to edit this to say that some people on RLC's Facebook page aren't having a problem with it, but most comments are of course from those who are having a problem. So it isn't everyone who dislikes it. By the way the page is called Nature-Throid & WP Thyroid. There are accounts in other places about the problem, but I think that Facebook page is the one which the lab will be reading as they administer it.
You could try some of the latest N-T and see how it goes, but perhaps not buy a large amount in case you don't get on with it. On the other hand, I also took Thyroid-S for 2 years and liked it, despite the many fillers, but I didn't get on with Thiroyd. So perhaps you could get some Thyroid-S in as well to cover all angles. I still keep a 3-month supply of it in stock in case I need it.
I crashed and my FT3 level dropped considerably once I started taking the 'new' Nature-throid. I decided to try another brand. It's frustrating people need to try different things/combinations and different brands to find what suits them. Very frustrating when something that is working well suddenly doesn't. Maybe RLC Labs has successfully addressed the problem and you'll do well on a new batch. Framboise made a good suggestion - have a go, but don't commit to a huge supply. Or you could try another brand and see how you get on. Good luck getting this sorted.
Since being on the new Nature throid my t3 levels went from optimal to barely within range 😔 I'm now on Thai Thiroyd but it's too early to say if its as effective as the old nature throid. I'm keeping my fingers firmly crossed x
I had been taking thyroid s for 2.5 years and received my last order in July. After only a couple of days I felt a bit weird, anyway I had a complete blackout falling backwards onto my head and landed up in A & E. The week after I just tried one and the same feeling happened but I just sat it out.
Same supplier too but a bad batch, I am so fed up with it that I have started using an old lot of T3 Cynomel which I brought over from France it's over 16 months old and I think that it's not working well. Back to square one. I used to recommend my supplier of Thyroid s but have stopped now.
