I’ve just had my most recent results back can someone please advise on my thyroid as I’m not sure what my t4 should be if taking combination as it quite low?
My t3 is still only mid range too I was hoping that would have increased
I have had a positive result on the dio2 so am being trialled on t3
Still having lots of symptoms eat a clean diet and take supplements to include magnesium B complex vitamin D and selenium
I’m now on 20 t3 and 100 t4 have been taking t3 for 12 weeks now
T3 4.7 (2.8-7.1)
T4 11.7 (9-26)
TSH 0.02 (0.27-4.2)
B12 565 (191-663)
Folate 8.1 (3.3-19.3)
Ferritin 118 (10-150)
Vitamin D 99
My crp is still elevated at 14 (< 11)
And plasma viscosity is high at 1.85 (1.5-1.72)

Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water .
Last dose of Levothyroxine 24 hours prior to blood test. (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw).
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, best not mentioned to GP or phlebotomist)
If/when also on T3 make sure to take last half or third of daily dose 8-12 hours prior to test, even if this means adjusting time or splitting of dose day before test
T4 was high nearly upto top end of range but wasn’t ever over
I think t4 doesn’t suit me the more I take the iller I feel but I still feel rubbish on the combination dose!
I’m considering taking more t3 and dropping t4 lower but I have a private endo appt Wednesday so am going to see what he suggests I just want someone to see me rather than a virtual appointment
