First month off Levo and on Cytomel only - update

I continued and dropped the Levo off completely. It has been 4 weeks. My current blood results are:

TSH <0.01 (0.35-5.00)

Free T4 <1 (12-22)

Free T3 7.5 (3.4-5.9)

B12, Vit D, Iron all in good levels. I also take Magnesium 3xday, Vit C along with the Iron, Selenium, Zinc and Folate.

Currently taking 100 mcg of Cytomel (worked my way up from 50).

I am feeling good, more energy, no hearth issues (resting HR is 65), mostly on Gluten Free Vegetarian diet (I have Hashi but not confirmed Celiac yet). Lost 2.2 lbs (not as much as I was hoping to despite working out).

My question is:

1. Should I reduced Cytomel since I am looking like I might be overmedicated? Maybe that's why my weight is still holding on?

If so, how much should I reduce? I take it all in ones on an empty stomach right after waking up. Splitting the dose didn't work out for me.

2. Should I add Levothyroxine? Has anyone ever had T4 so low? Obviously, my gland is not creating any T4.

If so, how much should I add?

I would say you definitely taking too much. With T3 therapy which I am

on you should aim for a normal TSH reading and normal T3 reading( remember a normal T3 reading is different for everyone which is why

I get annoyed with people who say it should be in the upper limit as when mine was I felt terrible). Your T4 reading will always be low and out of range

but that doesn't matter as long as your TSH reading is within range and free T3 is within range plus the most important test of all how do you feel. T3 can take ages to get right as it's much more powerful than T4. You will need to constantly check blood tests and how you feel to get it right.

Might Lienka have THR?

How would I know if I do have THR?

I interpret THR as taking supraphsiological doses of T3 and not having any symptoms of over medication. I feel well on 200mcg of T3, which is a lot compared to the phsiological dose of 60mcg per day. I do not take any T4.

There’s a pamphlet available on Amazon which talks about THR; it has been mentioned on here before (cannot recall the title or authors).

May I ask what are your T4 levels? I am thinking of adding a bit of Levothyroxine since my levels are almost 0 and I fear that could cause problems.

I have been on all levels of T3. Felt best at over the normal range. Not sure why?

Also, TSH is almost always suppressed when on T3 therapy.
