Magnesium... what dosage and any recommendations for brand?

Happy new year guys! I’ve been taking my levo around 5weeks now, I’ve introduced vitamin c and vitamin d spray but didn’t want to do everything at once, I now feel ready to add another which ideally needs to be magnesium to aid absorption of the d3 I believe. I’ve read some links which were kindly posted on a previous post but found it too much info to process really. I’m thinking that the magnesium glycinate may be the best option for me but do I just take it as per packet recommendations and is there any specific brands that people recommend? Thankyou xx

Presumably you've had the links to articles which give information about which types of magnesium are best for which circumstances. Only you can say which one is most suitable for you.

The pack will tell you the suggested dose so you should go with that. The only exception would be magnesium citrate which is best is powder form so that you can start low and build it up slowly as it can cause diarrhoea if you take too much.

As for brand, you can always look for some and ask on here for comments before you buy. Personally I'd steer clear of cheap brands such as supermarket, high street (H&B, Boots) and those with lots of fillers/excipients.
