Magnesium oil dosage

Now I have confirmed with my magnesium oil provider that the concentration is 31% I have checked that approx 20 sprays equates to about 400mg equivalent to RDA.

I have been using citrate capsules alongside them without really ever being that comfortable.

I have upped from 6 sprays to 12 over the past week and encouraged by the results will up the oil dosage to around 20.

I will stop using citrate capsules.

Hi Daniel.

Can you tell us the brand of your manufacturer ?

And do you take the spray orally or externally ?

I’ve been taking some ‘natural’ magnesium supplement tablets but don’t really feel much effect.

Better you magnesium spray on skin seems to work better for me.

Interested to hear your thoughts

They are so cheap and clearly such good effectiveness they are an absolute bargain - I just skimmed the adverts, picked a cheap one and struck lucky!

Just read that is you exercise hard your needs can rise from 400 mg to up to 2000!

So I am probably ok to be taking lots more magnesium sprays after a really hard run to top up the daily morning dose

I make my own magnesium oil to spray on my skin by dissolving Epsom salts in water in a spray bottle. I bought a big bag of Epsom salts for my bath so this is very cheap to do.

I make my own with Magnesium flakes and boiled water. It can sting, try to put on thighs, arms etc less sensitive skin. Can anyone tell me how much and how often is safe to use? Thanks.

Up from 10 to 15 sprays each morning and only a minor sting. Each increase has felt beneficial so at £5 a bottle I am not exactly going to hold back - once I have got to 20 each morning I will maintain that level.

Just done a early morning 5 miler and this is making a decent difference.
