finally diagnosed hypothyroid 8 months ago by doing my own bloods (told my GP I was hypothyroid a year prior with my symptoms, but my results were 'normal'...) - when my TSH tipped into slightly out of range high, doc gave me T4. Good initial result, but after much trial & error, & own blood testing, & learning about optimal ranges, I definitely need T3 too. My GP is willing to refer to private endocrinologist, but need one that is willing to prescribe T3 - can anyone advise of one please? Thank you !

Hi there , thank you so much for this . <Doctor's name removed by Admin to conform to posting guidelines of not discussing individual doctors on the forum without their permission> I think I should return to NDT as I did feel better on it . It's just so expensive as need a private consultation and a private script too . I really hope you get some help on here it's a great supporting community. Cheers lesley x
