Hello Everybody,

My name is Monika. I am suffering from extreme coccxy pain after giving birth to my son through C-section and I was using Fragmin Injection throughout my pregnancy as I had Factor V Laiden ( Blood clotting disorder) I didnt take any Vitamin D & calcium during my pregnancy as it had counter effect with Fragmin Injection. My tailbone feels bruised most of the time and i am in real agony. Is anyone experiencing the same? The pain is horrendus. Thanks for reading.

When my daughter injured her coccyx (funny but not funny - due to a large bowel movement), anti-inflammatories, rest, stretching given her by gp, exercises given by gp, and cortisone injection were ineffective. She was in agony trying to sit through classes all day (and what teenager wants to carry a pillow from class to class).

What finally helped her was a chiropractor that also is certified in "Active Release Technique." The doctor would put her coccyx back into proper alignment and then use ART to eliminate the muscle spasms that would pull it right back out of alignment. It took very few appointments to get things worked out. (Chiropractor before this one was ineffective because he was missing that ART part.)

I’d suggest mild chiropractor( McTimoney trained) to realign spine.

Hello Monikamona,

I agree with the others, if you can see a McTimony qualified Chiropractor to realign your spine particularly after carrying a baby weight. Dont be suprised if they work on your neck area too, as above so below with our spines.

Every best wish,G
