Daughters latest blood test results, any input please?

First off my daughter is not taking any medication and has no diagnosis.

TSH 3.08 (0.27 - 4.21)

Free T4 12.8 (12 -22)

that is the only thyroid tests they did this time grrr ! Vit D is on the low side again, and Ferritin is low in range as well.

Past result showed mildly raised AntiThyroid antibodies (i dont have numbers)

TSH 2.3 (0.27 - 4.20)

Free T4 10.9 (12 -22)

Free T3 8.1 (3.10 -6.80)

Ferritin 19 (16 - 445)

Folate >20 (4.40 - 20)

TSH 1.7 (0.27 - 4.20)

Free T4 11.6 (12 - 22)

Free T3 8.3 (3.10 - 6.80)

Se Thyroid peroxidase ab conc (TS) 37 (<100)

Any input please?

Has she ever had her iodine tested? If not, it might be worth-while getting it done. But, whatever she does, she should not jump the gun and start supplementing with it! Could make things worse.

No iodine tests done, what would that mean if low or high?

I was diagnosed with myxedema about 10 years ago, and my sisters thyroid results come back abnormal everytime she gets tested but the doctor say not enough to treat.

The thing about your daughter's results is that the FT4 is so low, but the FT3 over-range. It does happen, sometimes, that if a person is low on iodine, the thyroid will make less T4 and more T3, to save on iodine - T4 contains 4 atoms and T3 3 atoms. So, I was just wondering if that could be the problem.
