Blood test results

Got blood results today so here goes if I'm doing this wrong please correct me tsh: 2.63(0.27-4.20) FT 16.84 (12:00- 22:00)T4 166.2 (59:00-154.00)free T3 4.03 (3.10-6.80) thyroglobulin antibody 89.00 (000-115.00) thyroid peroxidase antibodies 300.2 (000- 34.00) any help would be great

Most patients feel better with a TSH below 1. Your FT3 should be in the top third of the range I believe. Your TPO shows you have hashimoto's disease.

Hi I've been diagnosed with an underactive thyroid and I'm on 162 ml of thyroxine but they make me feel terrible so had bloods to see if I needed t3 meds ?

Without free T4 it's hard to see what the conversion is like but it's possible

I think the 16.84 is the FT4, correct me if I'm wrong

Could be, the figures would tie up, I just wasn't making an assumption.

So you definitely have Hashimoto's. Hashimotos affects the gut, or leaky gut triggers Hashimotos

This commonly leads to low nutrients. Have you got test results for vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin. Also hidden food intolerances are common.

A great many of us with Hashimoto's find changing to gluten free diet gives significant benefit

If vitamin levels are too low they need improving first, before considering T3
