Hi all

Just had my bloods back today... (the second figure in brackets is from my previous test 3 months ago)

hs-CRP 0.44 (0.69) <5.0

Ferritin 65.9 (26.5) 13-150

TSH 0.52 (0.14) 0.27-4.20

T4 Total 100.00 (105.0) 66-181

Free T4 17.70 (22.00) 12.0 - 22.0

Free T3 4.36 (4.35) 3.1 - 6.8

Anti-Thyroidperoxidase abs >600 (>600) <34

Anti-Thyroglobulin Abs 1530 (1916) <115

Vit D 144 (100) 50-175

Vit B12 615 (430) 250-569

Serum Folate 17.50 (19.70) 8.83-60.8

Since my last bloods 3 months ago when I discovered I have Hashi's, I have gone gluten and dairy free I am eating all the 'right' foods and this has made a massive difference to how I feel. In fact, dare I say it I don't feel too bad at all at this very moment (!) although I still feel there is room for improvement :)

I am supplementing Iron, B12, Vit D, selenium and zinc plus copper in quite small doses. I take 137mg Levo daily (dropped from 150 after the bloods 3 months ago - I take 125 / 150 alternate days)..

I think my TSH and T4 are about right (please correct me if I am wrong) I wonder why my T3 hasn't changed ?? I don't know whether I should up my Levo back to 150? And should my Serum Folate be of concern, especially as it has gone down despite my gluten/dairy overhaul ?

Thanks for your advice.. xx

Vitamin D is now getting on high side, so look at reducing the amount you take to maintenance dose.

Perhaps swop the B12 for a good daily vitamin B complex, one with folate in, not folic acid. This will help folate level and keep all B vitamin levels up

If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 3-5 days before any blood tests, as biotin can falsely affect test results

Perhaps retesting in 6-8 weeks, before considering increasing Levothyroxine

Or tweaking Levo up to say 125/150/150 i.e. 2 days at 150 and 1 day at 125
