Ive just come through a pretty stressful house move and my body held up pretty well however I have started to put on weight again despite no chance in my diet.

Test was taken at 7.30 am fasting 24 hours after 75mg of levo and 1 cap of thyrogold.

so my T3 is probably more like 4.716? I am thinking about swapping completely to thyrogold should I increase by half a cap to begin with rather than a full cap? your thoughts would be much appreciated.

ps I have started Vit D again as this has dropped despite the sunshine.

You seem to have been ignored Claire! You need more levothyroxin ( not sure about thyrogold)- so up 25 mcg to 100 , wait 6 weeks for another test, and if appropriate add another 25 mcg. Your FT3 is very low at 3.93 but might shift to nearer 5 with extra mcg levo. I don't understand how you think the FT3 was really 4.716 ( that is only just under halfway thru range and respectable)- rather a precise figure. I hope you didn't fast for 24 hours before blood draw...too long ...overnight is sufficient. You know you are Hashimoto's with thyroid autoimmune antibodies which is characterised by poor gut absorption and associated with low vitamin/ mineral levels? Your folate is low - should be at least half way thru range; Vit D needs raising to 100-150 range. I had taken very high doses of Vit D by mouth for years and recently found I was relatively low at 90 nmol/L but changed to VitD / vitK drops that are absorbed under the tongue - haven't been retested but much easier to take as that '4 hour gap' between them and other 'meds' etc not so significant. Sorry don't know enough about thyrogold to advise, and it is not obvious till you read to bottom of long post that is the advice you wanted- perhaps repost with that as title might attract more replies.
