i did start with fruit water and couldnt understand why my sugar levels were high so i tested the drink and it wasnt good

the celery lemon lime and cucumber is lovely, i do pee for england but dr said thats a good thing as it could be stopping me from retaining water (i swell badly in this heat and so far its been ok)

I think it is OK as long as taken away from meds. It makes many medications act differently.

Hi Pimms1 you need to tell your doctor to send you to an endocrinologist for tests. I have been on thyroxine for 37 years my thyroid was removed when I was 20 years old, for the first year they kept messing around with my doseage & I felt terrible it was when I instead that I was sent to an endocrinologist & after some tests and adjustment of my medication that I started to feel much better and lose the weight that just kept pilling on. I am now on 1000mg (yes 1000 not 100) & have been for over 30 years & I feel great.

You can have grapefruit with thyroxin as the effect of it is minimal. It’s warfarin that you shouldn’t have grapefruit with. Hope this helps
