Help with latest results please.

Hello there

Thanks to this amazing forum I have been doing okay so not posted here in a while. However, I was hoping you might be able to advise on my latest results below.

I currently take 1 and a quarter grains of NP Thyroid but recently have been feeling cold in the afternoon and evenings, the brain fog and fatigue is creeping back in and, despite three times in the gym and two 5K walks a week, plus eating a lot healthier my weight is not budging! I was thinking of upping half a grain but what do you lovely people think?

Can you advise, are my results okay? I was thinking my T3 should be higher as well as my T4. In November my TSH was 0.09 which was obviously out of range but I felt fine and my T3 was in range at 5.6 and T4 14 which is what I would expect while on NDT.

But these latest ones, what are your thoughts? (I know I need to up my ferritin and folate, despite supplementing I struggle to get them up. I also supplement with all the usual, selenium, Vit D, B12 etc)

If we take NDT and symptoms begin, we should increase dose by 1/4 tablet every 2 weeks till resolved. Also keep an eye on temp/pulse and if either goes too high, drop to previous dose.

The blood tests were invented along with levothyroxine alone, therefore if we take an alternative, especially NDT, it has T3, T4, T2, T1 and calictonin so tests cannot correlate: also if we add T3 to T4. It is all about how we 'feel' on a particular dose which is the best judge.
