It's been 6 months since my last results and 3 months since my Levo dosage has gone up to 150 mg (from 120 mg). I think i'm doing OK (still very slow weight lost...) What do you think of my results?

TSH - 1.23 (0.55-4.78)

T3F - 4.2 (3.5-6.5)

T4F - 15.3 (10.0-20.0)

B12 - 409 (started taking them in droops few weeks a go).

Folic Acid - 12.6

Iron - 71 (60-180)

FERRITIN - 18.0 (10.0 - 291.0)

DHEA - 2.31 (0.10 - 11.60)

Thank you!

Thyroid tests are all in range, how do you feel?

I feel much much better and that most of symptoms are gone. The only thing that bothers me is that i can't loose weight even after my TSH drooped from 6.0 at the top to 1.23 now and all the other vitamin levels are ok...I have Hashimoto and i switched my diet and i try to be completely GF if that helps...

Well there is a chance that your test results would still be range if your dose was slightly higher. If it’s too high you will start to get unpleasant symptoms /feelings of overtreatment.

As you become more active, you may find that the weight starts to come off without an increase in dose.

The only weight that comes off on its own is fluid that’s collected in your tissues while hypothyroid, you would have to follow a weight loss programme such as Weightwatchers to lose any more. But be careful, because low fat is bad news with thyroid problems, makes you feel poorly, affects absorption and conversion.

Your ferritin is still low

What about vitamin D

No range on B12 and folate so can't tell on those

TSH may still be a bit high, FT4 could be higher, as could FT3. FT3 ideally over 5 or 5.5

You might want to try small dose increase in Levo perhaps 12.5mcg (25mcg alternate days)

You need to 100% strictly gluten free or it doesn't really work

B12 - 409 (170-712)

FA - 12.6 (normal is higher than 12.2. Deficient is 0.8-7.6)

They didn't take my vitamin D this time (very strange), but last Feb' 2017 it was on 67.5

(75.0-250.0)

How can i increase my ferritin level?

Thank you!

Eating liver once a week should help improve ferritin. You can hide it casseroles etc if you don't like it. Or liver pate is good option

Otherwise it's ferrous fumerate supplements

Vitamin D needs to be around 100nmol. Testing via vitamindtest.org.uk £29 postal kit. Ideally test twice yearly, especially if supplementing

Better You vitamin D mouth spray is good as avoids poor gut function

Once you reach good level, likely to need ongoing maintenance dose. Trial and error what each person needs. Might need more in winter than summer. Government recommends everyone supplement Oct to April

B12 and folate might benefit from good vitamin B complex with folate in (not folic acid)

If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 3-5 days before any blood tests, as biotin can falsely affect test results
