My gp at my request up my meds to 100 mg Levo three weeks ago ! As I still wasn’t feeling 100% ! better than when I was on teva but still very tired ! I am now taking actavis

TSH 0.58 ( 0.01-5.00 )

T4 20 ( 12.0-23.0 )

Do u think this increase in dose will be to much or try it out for another 3 weeks before he’s retesting. Still refusing to test t3 ! Have ordered private test but not had it yet any ideas on my results thanks in advance.

With those results, I think it would have been a better idea to test FT3 at the same time as FT4 and TSH to see if you are converting T4 to T3 well enough. Also Vit D, B12, Folate and Ferritin.

He wanted to get before and after meds increased. To see If I felt any better. Thanks susie

Hi Bunty don't forget to wait until you have been on your new increased dose for 6 to 8 weeks before doing the private test.

Hi there! Is that TSH range correct. The lower end is very low - the range at my GP’s lab is 0.5-5. It’s great if 0.01 is the low end. 🤸🏿‍♀️🥛

Sorry should have read 0.1 - 5.0

I had my Levo decreased slightly because TSH was 0.01

Absolutely do not just stop the levo, sorry but that is a terrible and dangerous idea.

Is it FT4 or TT4 that was checked? It's meaningless anyway, until you get FT4 & FT3 checked to see if you FT4 is converting to FT3. Why wound any endo, or GP, check only your TSH & T4? The T4 is in the upper range which is all right if the T3 is also, meaning it (probably) converting from the T4. Please ask them to test you FT3 & T4 and your Vitamins and antibodies. May you find peace soon.

I've found that Teva doesn't agree with me but have felt much better on activis
