I posted earlier with my erratic thyroid test results..
Here are my vitamins results;
B12 445.(141-489)
Vit D 82 (50-200)
Ferritin 64 (15-300)
Iron 27 (10-30)
Any info or guidance appreciated. Can see Vit D and ferritin perhaps need a boost. What do I need to aim for? Supplement recommendations welcomed too.Thank you

I would take Jarrow Methylcobalamin 1000 mcg lozenges to keep under the tongue until dissolved - from Amazon. Better to have a result nearer the top of the range. Further testing will produce skewed results once supplementing. I also take Thorne Research B Complex.
VitD would be good around 100 - so taking around 2000 IU's should get you there quite quickly. I take Healthy Origins - again from Amazon. Also take Magnesium and VitK2-MK7.
Ferritin almost there too - so eating liver or liver pate a couple of times a month should help raise level to around 70/80. Actually your results are not that bad
Yes Selenium too ! Introduce things slowly in case you have a reaction - try to keep a journal. When the anti-bodies stop attacking your thyroid you should feel better. I know you are Gluten Free - but am wondering if some gluten has been hidden in something you hadn't realised - just a thought.
Take things slowly - and try some relaxing breathing exercises so the mind can be still. Whilst focusing on the breath it is impossible to fill the mind with busy bits ....
Thank you. Yes I have just spoken with my husband about things like toasters /
Sharing chopping boards etc. I’m sure there’s room to be stricter! I guess it’s just a real balancing act isn’t it? When this flare has calmed, getting my tsh to 1 and then hopefully I’ll feel better. Thank you... no doubt I’ll be calling on you again as long as you don’t mind! Thank you x
Not at all. Everyone is more than happy to keep answering questions - and it doesn't matter if you ask the same questions more than once. It is all very confusing at first - and eventually it will all fall into place. Off to sleep now - we are two hours ahead .... speak soon !
