I take my thyroxine first thing in the morning upon waking and am wanting to start taking a b complex and vit d supplement as well as probiotic and need to take ferrous fumerate to increase ferritin as well... I know to take the FF in evening away from my levothyroxine but can I take B complex and D vitamins with breakfast or is that too close to levothyroxine? Probiotic would increase their absorption and so need to spread it out at take it at lunch time and if iron at night time hoping that safe to take vit b and d within hour or two of levothyroxine? Thanks for advice.

The general rule of thumb is vits 2 hours away from levo. If your vit D contains a magnesium supplement also then it is 4 hours away from levo as magnesium needs to be given a 4-hour gap.
All the information I have about Vit D is that it needs to be 4 hours away from thyroid meds unless it's an oral spray and that doesn't need so long as it's absorbed through the mucous membranes in the oral cavity rather than the digestive tract.
As you're taking Vit D then you should also be taking it's important cofactors Vit K2-MK7 (2 hours away from thyroid meds) and magnesium (4 hours away from thyroid meds).
Thanks so much Susie for this..what does the Vit K2-MK7 and magnesium do if taking Vit D? Sorry for bother I don't know. Thank you for all your time and advice

It's no bother, I'm happy to explain.
Taking D3 aids absorption of calcium from food. Vit K2-MK7 directs the calcium to bones and teeth where it's needed and away from arteries and soft tissues where it can be deposited and cause problems such as calcification of arteries, kidney stones, etc. 90-100mcg K2-MK7 is enough for up to 10,000iu D3.
For Vit K2-MK7 my suggestions are Vitabay, Vegavero or Vitamaze brands which all contain the correct form of K2-MK7 - the "All Trans" form rather than the "Cis" form. The All Trans form is the bioactive form, a bit like methylfolate is the bioactive form of folic acid. They are German brands usually available from Amazon or Ebay. Vegavero is the one that is more readily obtainable and is the one I use. Sometimes I can only get 200mcg capsules so then I just take them on alternate days to average 100mcg daily.
Magnesium helps the body convert D3 into it's usable form. There are many types of magnesium so we have to check to see which one is most suitable for our own needs:
The following link is included purely to describe the different forms of magnesium, ignore the fact that it mentions calcium is necessary, calcium is only necessary if you test and found to be deficient and then your GP should address that
