My reply to first post re vitamins was correct then
See a different GP urgently ask for Levo dose increase and correct treatment for vitamin deficiencies
Essential to get B12 injections started. They wouldn't delay insulin for a diabetic
Have you been tested for Pernicious Anaemia
Folic acid should not be started until after B12
Vitamin D, ask for loading dose. They may not agree as you are not under 25. If that's the case but your own Better You vitamin D mouth spray, 5000iu. This avoids poor gut function. Retest via vitamindtest.org.uk £28 in 2-3 months. You will need to take maintenance dose, possibly 2000iu may be more to keep dose stable. Aiming for around 100nmol. Test twice yearly. May need more in winter than summer

Selenium supplements can help too
Going strictly gluten free is very very likely to help.
Thyroid peroxidase antibodies are positive for autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's). There is no cure for Hashimoto's which causes 90% of hypothyroidism. Levothyroxine treatment is for the low thyroid levels it causes. Many people have found that 100% gluten-free diet is helpful in reducing Hashi flares, symptoms and eventually antibodies.
Ferritin needs to be >70, ideally halfway through range. You can raise ferritin by supplementing iron with 1,000mg vitamin C to aid absorption and minimise constipation.
B12 injection should be initiated 48 hours prior to taking 5mg folic acid. Have you been checked for pernicious anaemia? Symptoms of B12 deficiency are b12deficiency.info/signs-an...healthunlocked.com/pasoc are the experts on PA, B12 and folate deficiency if you need more advice.
Vitamin D 800iu is a maintenance dose to prescribed when vit D is replete ie >75nmol/L. 800iu totally insufficient to treat vitD 28.8. Your GP should refer to local guidelines or the NICE CKS recommendations for treating vitamin D deficient adults cks.nice.org.uk/vitamin-d-d... My GP prescribed 40,000iu daily x 14 followed by 2,000iu daily x 8 weeks which raised vitD from <10 to 107. Vitamin D should be taken 4 hours away from Levothyroxine.
Alternatively you can buy vitamin D3 without prescription from Amazon. I suggest 10,000iu x 6 weeks then reduce to 5,000iu alternate days. If you buy on Amazon please use the affiliate link healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...
