Hi -

I'm desperately trying to figure out what's wrong. I'll post bloods then symptoms. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I finally have an appointment with an endo but no idea when.

I've had changing symptoms over the course of the years when I've been tested but they're could fit with so many different conditions I think the Docs have given up. I’ve been labelled a hypochondriac! I’ve been dx as fibromyalgia but I don’t believe this at all. I’m currently experiencing fatigue, brain fog, weakness, dizzy spells, always cold, low blood pressure, headaches, easily annoyed, crave salty and sugary things. I had tingling, pins and needles, memory problems, dropping things etc but those seem to have gone away once I managed to get my Vit B12 up.

I have lost my peripheral vision in both eyes so went for an MRI and they found an asymmetry of my pituitary but didn’t seem too bothered. They also tested FSH and LH which were FSH = 35, LH =13.1 – I don’t have reference ranges. The following month they were FSH=2.37 and LH=1.33. My cycles are all over the place so no idea what it actually means.

Over the years since 2008 onwards I’ve felt my symptoms matched Hashimoto’s, adrenal fatigue, addison’s, diabetes, Pituitary tumour, MS but am now pretty certain I’m it’s adrenal/ pituitary/ thyroid linked as most symptoms not linked to those things have gone once Vitamin levels were increased. I have days of crazy hyper as well as the usual fatigue. I’m just fed up of being thought of as an annoying patient and want to get to the bottom of it all.

My nice GP, I have a horrible one I try to avoid, has agreed to a referral to an endo and a synacthen test. I’m also thinking of doing a saliva cortisol so I have the results with me when I see the endo. Not sure if they’ll consider them but it probably can’t hurt.

I’d welcome some ideas/ thoughts from anyone who has any idea what it could all mean. PS I added the bilirubin in there as I’ve been dx with Gilbert’s syndrome but there was a query re: liver disease. My kidneys aren’t great either and my potassium is always up around 4.5-5 (ref 3.5-5.3) with sodium high end around 144 (ref 133-146). Oh calcium is reasonably high at 2.48 (ref (2.03-2.45) and finally eosonphils are up lately??

I started Vit B12, Folic Acid, Iron, Vit D3, Goats milk Kefir on 15/07/17.

Thanks so much and apologies for such a long post!

Unfortunately, results aren't in the table format that you probably entered, and I can't follow them. Could you edit in the most recent results so that it is clear what is what, please, and then people might be able to interpret them more readily?

Hi- sorry appreciate you letting me know. I should have double checked.

TSH (.35-4.94) = .48

Free T4 (9-19) = 12.4

Cortisol (above 400) = 358

Folate, Ferritin, Vit B12, Vit D3 all low end of normal or sig below although getting better with high dose Vits.

When I'm feeling OK TSH is about .30 and T4 around 13.2.

Just to check, you're not taking any thyroid hormones or any supplements other than the items you have named?

If you can post your actual vitamin and mineral results with their ranges then somebody knowledgeable, like SeasideSusie might be able to make some helpful suggestions as to dosages to bring you nearer to an optimal level.

And, as far as you know, you've never had your FT3 levels assessed?

No, never tested for T3 and not taking any medication. Vit levels before I started supplements were:

Vit B12 (187-883) = 244

Folate (5-20) = 2.8

Ferritin (10-204) = 31

Cortisol = 357

Sorry, I wasn't sure exactly what to post.

Thanks so much for any help. I've read some of seasideSusie's posts in other threads and have learned so much already.
