14 year old hashimotos

Hello my daughter looks like she has hashimotos thyroiditis but the sick kids say that they don't treat untill tsh is over 10.0. I don't know is I should challenge this or not. Please can I have your advise regarding results.

Free t4 12 range (10-18pmol/l

Get her vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 tested and make sure to get the actual results and ranges

Also consider testing for Coeliac and then even if negative try to persuade her to stick on gluten free diet for at least 6 months to see if it helps reduce antibodies

They said they only treat if tsh is over 10.0

Can you tell me where you got that info so I can look it up and take it to appointment.
