Losing my hair

Hi all,

Quick background...partial then completion thyroidectomy August 2016, thyroid cancer diagnosis, taking 175mcg levothyroxine as well as calcium, vit d and b12/b complex supplements.

TSH was last tested at 0.07 and is being kept low, specialist says I can go lower so long as I'm not getting heart palpitations.

I'm feeling generally pretty good but I'm losing my hair - this is possibly the most disturbing side effect/symptom of my past year.

I've ordered blood test to check where I am against my last one but can anyone think what may be causing this?

Without knowing your nutrient levels it would be hard to weigh in here but if you can get the results of ferritin, folate, b12 and D3 it may shed some light there. But a quick search thru the topics gets a lot of hits discussing hair loss - so you may want to start there.

Here's just one - low ferritin as well as zinc are discussed:
