Serum TSH Normal 3.63 (0.27-4.2)

B12 555 (191.0-663.0)

Folate 10.6 (3.90-26.80)

Ferritin 86 (10-150)

Full blood count ok apart from lymphocytes 3.44 (1.00-3.0010)

I take A-Z vitamin and minerals plus extra vit D and calcium and 50 mcg of levothyroxine (which I take at night)

Are these results OK???

Hi Peppercat

B12 and folate look okay to me. Ferritin too but it can be misleading but if heamoglobin and mcv etc in blood count are not hitting the bottom, then should be fine.

Your TSH is too high and you need a dose increase to 75mcg Levo - you will feel better if at 1 or just under. Then test 6-8 weeks later to see if has come down enough. You should also get a T4 test to check levels are okay and you may also want a T3 test to check if converting efficiently.

I don't think lymphocytes is too much of a problem as only just over range so prob only a temporary issue.

Calium and Vit D should not be taken unless you have tested and know you need to supplement as having too much can be as bad as not enough.

The multivits are normally a waste of money as not enough to correct deficiencies and could cause more issues than they're worth :-)
