My results came back as normal but I don't feel it. I'm taking 175micrograms daily of thyroxine.

Advice on these results please:

Plasma lipids

Serum cholesterol 5.0 mil/L (<5.0)

Serum HDL cholesterol level 1.15mmol/L (>1.00)

Serum cholesterol/HDL RATIO 4.3 (<6.0)

Serum caeruloplasmin

Normal ceruloplasmin. No evidence of Wilson's, but note that ceruloplasmin may be elevated by inflammation (and also by OCP therapy and pregnancy in females).

Serum caeruloplasmin 0.23 g/L (0.15-0.26)

Serum C reactive protein level < 4.0 mg/L (<10.0)

Serum ferritin 153 ug/L (22-322

Serum folate 7.10 ug/L (>4.0)

Serum iron tests

IRON 24.8 umol/L (11.0-31.0)

Will be filed as: 42R..00 serum iron tests

Serum transferrin 2.81 g/L (2.15-3.65)

Percentage iron saturation 35% (15.0-45.0)

Serum testosterone 28.7 nmol/L (8.4-28.7)

Serum TSH level 1.3mu:L (0.35-5.50)

Will be filed as 1.3mU/L

TSH level suggests adequate thyroxine replacement

Serum vitamin B12 783 ng/L (211-911)

Serum total 25-OH bit D level 95.5 nonlinear/L (50.0-125.0)

Serum 250HD>50 nmol/L is sufficient for almost the whole population

Been taking thyroid replacement "thyroxine" for 9 years, not been feeling good since January 2017.

Mrgrape62 TSH alone is not a good indicator of what's happening with your thyroid. You need FT4 and FT3 tested to see whether T4 is converting to T3 well enough, T3 being the active hormone that every cell in our bodies need. Unfortunately, doctors don't seem to understand this and wrongly rely on TSH only.

If you can't get both FT4 and FT3 done on the NHS (and it's unlikely that your GP can get it done) then you can do these privately with a fingerprick test at home.
