Medicheck test results

Hi guys, I've just had my test results back from medicheck "Thyroid Check Ultra" as am being told by my GP that my thyroxine level is too high but am still experiencing hypo symptoms and would love your assistance on interpreting what may be going on (TT in Aug 2016) as other than the TSH being too low, everything else is within range.

TSH = 0.008 (0.27 - 4.20)

Free Thyroxine = 21.75 (12.00 - 22.00)

T4 = 94.8 (59.00 - 154.00)

Free T3 = 5.95 (3.10 - 6.80)

Thyroglobulin Antibody = 18.290 (0.00 - 115.00)

Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies = 19.88 (0.00 - 34.00)

Vitamin B12 = 195 (140.00 - 724.00)

Folate (Serum) = >19.95 (3.89 - 26.80)

Vit D = 75.61 (50.00 - 200.00)

Ferritin = 147.7 (13.00 - 150.00)

TSH is very suppressed but you aren't over medicated because FT4 and FT3 are within range. You need FT4 high in range for the good conversion to FT3 you have, more so because you no longer have intra thyroidal conversion. If your dose is reduced both FT4 and FT3 will drop.

You will have some thyroid material left in the thyroid bed after surgery unless you had RAI ablatement post thyroidectomy but thyroid antibodies are negative for autoimmune thyroiditis (Hashimoto's).

B12 is low in range. Symptoms of B12 deficiency are similar to hypothyroid symptoms. See b12deficiency.info/signs-an... It may be worth asking your GP to rule out pernicious anaemia causing low B12. If you want more advice on B12 deficiency and PA contact healthunlocked.com/pasoc

Folate, vitD and ferritin are good.
