My ferritin level is 52.1 (20-150)
B12 352 (insufficient 140-250)
I think my gp will say these are fine. How do I go about increasing the levels?

Leesy121,
You can supplement iron with 1,000mcg vitamin C to raise ferritin and 1,000mcg methylcobalamin to raise B12. Do you know what your folate level is?
Folate 24.83.
What iron should I take?
My doctor saw my private thyroid results and said they don't make sense and has told me to have my thyroid bloods re tested.
Leesy121,
Try Ferrous Fumarate and take each tablet with 1,000mcg vitamin C to aid absorption and minimise constipation. Make sure you take iron 4 hours awy from Levothyroxine.
Folate is fine.
If both TSH and FT4 are high on the retest your GP should refer you to endocrinology. You could show GP the link to thyroidmanager which I posted.
Can I buy ferrous fumarate?
Leesy121,
Yes, most high streets stores except Boots sell FF. Also available online from Amazon. If you buy from Amazon please use the TUK affiliate link healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...
