I've been taking this now since April last year, proven to be much better for me than Levo, however I'm self prescribing and haven't yet informed my doctor who found my blood results rather strange, I haven't been back yet for more and am planning to do so soon, the problem is since been on the NDT I've suffered with really bad halitosis, and it Is really noticeable, I never had this problem previously so I'm 98% sure it's the tablets, has anyone else suffered this or can shed any light as to why ?

Could it be due to your stomach. The reason being that as we are hypothyroid we can have low stomach acid which means our food isn't digested effectively.

You do not have to tell your doctor if you dont want to. Doctors will go by the TSH only if you don't stand up for yourself. Go by how you feel not numbers.
