A few weeks ago I joined this knowledgeable forum. I have been treated for under active thyroid for about 16 years. Somebody told me I could ask the GP for a print of my blood results which they have done. But my results don't mention T3 or T4. It just says serum TSH level normal at 0.84. Am I missing something!
Thank you

TSH 0.84 is euthyroid (normal) and rules out primary hypothyroidism. It is useful to have FT4 which can indicate secondary hypothyroidism if results are low. Many practices won't order FT4 unless TSH is abnormal. FT3 is rarely ordered by GP practices.
You can order Blue Horizon Thyroid Plus 6 TSH, FT4 and FT3 or Thyroid Plus 11 which includes antibodies and some vitamin and mineral tests too. thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/testin...
