Where can I buy T3

Hi, newbie here. I have been feeling ill for the past 6-7 years. The Dr. has sent me all over the place and I am no further forward. I have now spent months researching and have had a private blood test. This is showing me with high Reverse T3 (39.00 , normal is between 10 and 24) and my ratio is low (10.15 when it should be above 20). I know the only way to make myself get better is to take T3. As cellular hypothyroidism is not recognised in this country I cannot get a prescription for T3. Please help! Where can I purchase some. I have seen other members that have private messages with this information, I would be so grateful if someone would send this info to me. I have also found out the you can get a packet of 30 pills from chemists in France for 2-3 euros, but they need a prescription. Does anyone know if a private Dr. would consider giving a prescription?

What are your TSH, FT4 and FT3 with the ranges (figures in brackets after results)?

A private doctor will probably prescribe T3 but 28 x 20mcg tablets will cost £250+ so it will be much cheaper to buy Turkish or Greek T3 online.

TSH 1.23 (0.27 - 4.20)

FT4 17.94 (12 - 22)

FT3 6.08 (3.1 - 6.8)

I cannot find a site to buy Turkish or Greek T3 on line. Can you point me in the right direction?

msc, are you taking any T4? If so, how much? Those results do not look as if you need to take T3. Your FT3 is right at the top of the range.

rT3 is a funny thing, but it's not permanent. Did you have some sort of infection when the test was done? Do you have nutritional deficiencies? Personally, I would be very wary of taking T3 with those labs.
