just got my results they are serum free t4 12.2 pmol/L (12.0-22.0) and tsh level 2.83 mu/L (0.27-4.2). feel very anxious again and high pulse 89 my t4 result was a lot higher on thyroxine over 24, wonder whether im better off on 100mg thyroxine and quarter grain of throid for the t3.
i feel generally more anxious and wired whether synthetic t3 or natural, a higher dose gives me faster pulse over 100. hate that adrenaline feeling all the time.

You really need a FT3 result when taking NDT or T3. What I see is high TSH indicating you are undermedicated and low FT4 which can also be due to under medication. FT4 can be low in range if FT3 is high in range.
Did you feel better on 100mcg Levothyroxine? What were your thyroid results on 100mcg?
TSH was lower but still higher than many people are comfortable with. FT3 4.52 wasn't bad at all. Total T4 doesn't mean anything to me, I understand FT4.
I think you need higher dose NDT or higher dose Levothyroxine but from what you've said you don't tolerate higher doses?
Low ferritin can make you feel hyper and hypo when you try to incease dose. Do you know what your ferritin level is?
grey goose, here below was my blue horizon blood tests only 6 months ago i did the thyroid ten test: these are 6 month ago tests copied below;
C reactive protein elevated 10.8 range <3
Ferritin 94.2 range 20-150
Folate elevated 45.4. N/mol
Serum b12 310 pmol/l
Ft 21.18. Range 13-22p/molP
TPO antibodies 54.4 elevated
Anti thyroglob 872.7 elevated
T3 4.52
Tsh 1.60
T4 total elevated 174.0 mol/l
What does everyone think of my result s I'm on 125 mg of Levi and waiting for my t3 to arrive from overseas.
p.s what do you think of that greygoose? only 6 month ago. i still take a lot of supplements including b12, selenium and b complex plus high vit c. might have another ten test soon though if its on special offer.
OK , so your ferritin looks good. But, you have elevated CRP, which means there is some inflammation, so the actual ferritin figure could really be lower.
You say that was an active B12 test? Where's the range?
You have Hashi's, obviously.
TSH is still a bit high. Should be one or under.
I presume that is FT4 at 21.18. Where is the range for the FT3? If it's the usual BH range, then it is under mid-range. So, you're not converting very well.
TT4 is a useless test, tells you nothing.
But, as you say, these were done 6 months ago. A lot can change in 6 months.
