I was on Levo 100mcg for hashimotos, for 21 years. Fought to get Liothyronine added. Started 50mcg Levo and 10mcg of Liothyronine about six months ago. Still feel rubbish! Endo said to raise Levo to 75mcg but each time I do this I get hyper symptoms. I just think body doesn't like levo. I ordered Nature-throid from the Internet recently and started taking 1/2 grain + 10mcg liothyronine around 4-5am, thenanother 1/2 grain of nature-throid late afternoon. I work this out to be 95mcg all together. Before I started the levo/liothyronine combo I felt that I was overmedicated or that I wasn't converting the levo.
I know I should raise after two weeks of being on Ndt. What should I raise to though? And do I stop T3? I'm on my own with this as endo and gp won't support ndt or increasing T3. Xx

Thank you, no I hadn't seen that. I originally purchased some T3 from abroad it worked fine. Then we to endo and he put me on liothyronine. They never seem to raise you more than 10mcg, prob due to cost! I keep seeing articles that GP's will soon be withdrawing it, even if you are already taking it. In theory, I guess taking ndt, I shouldn't need to add any T3. Xx
