Got GP to do bloods today
Good luck. I hope you get the results you need to get you on the right track to health. Xxx
Hi Carrie, It's wonderful that your doctor was receptive. Rather uncommon in the NHS if that's where you are. I hope you did NOT take your levo before the test so as not to have better results than they truly are. Don't be surprised if your other results are low as well. I'm sure you will be able to improve your health once you know your status.
Yes NHS, been moaning at my usual GP for years and getting fobbed off!! Told to join diet clubs ect🙄 Just happened to get another GP who agreed 😄 Unfortunately they don't do the RT3 test on the NHS but asked for all the others. I took my Levothyroxine the night before and went for bloods on an empty stomach !! Will post my results on here once I get them as I probsnaly wont be able to make head nore tail of them.
Well, they say NOT to take within twelve hours before a test so you may show a higher FT4 than what you truly have but take that into account. You want FT4 and FT3 both in the higher of the ranges so be sure to get those with your print out of the results.
Yes, come back with results and I know you won't be fobbed off by the people here.
