Do you have Hashimotos? If so your antibodies could be reacting to the pig gland. It happened to me. Daily sore throat and my antibodies shot up after I had successfully reduced them going gluten free a year before starting NDT.
It would be wise to see your doctor to find out what is wrong with your tonsils. You may have an infection which can be treated by your doctor but it may be that the NDT doesn't suit you for some reason in which case your doctor may prescribe something else instead. Whatever the cause of the tonsil pain, it needs to be checked out by your doctor and treated appropriately.
