Hello please can someone tell me how I can get nature thirod with out needing a prescription? I've a feeling my doctor will not prescribe it to me.
NDT : Hello please can someone tell me how I can... - Thyroid UK
NDT
My gp won't prescribe but endo will. But only on private prescription and it's 158£ for 100 tablets. Others on here buy ndt off the net but I don't know if its nature throid. Theoretically gps can prescribe and on the NHS but many won't as ndt is unlicensed in the UK so it's on their head if they prescribe. Sorry probably not very helpful but good luck (and if someone pm you an answer can you pm me with it as my endo is out sick so I'm looking for a plan b!!). X
Do you mean thiroyd? The form of NDT available from Thailand at a cost of about £50 (including postage) for 1000 tablets without a prescription?
I've just been told off by admin here for talking about where you can get NDT for cheap and they've edited my post. Nice and helpful like, just like all those useless doctors who are influenced by the big bucks. <strong hint>
Limbolass,
The posting guidelines have wide - though admittedly not universal - support among members.
If you do not like them you have a number of choices including contacting Thyroid UK to put your point of view.
Comments such as you have made above are unnecessary and unwelcome.

How do I contact Thyroid UK Please? I can't find how yet I am told not to reply to this poster who is a "volunteer".
Limbolass,
If you haven't already done so, please take the time to read through this forums posting guidelines, which can be found here healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...
If you wish to contact thyroid UK about anything forum related, you can send email directly to louise.roberts@thyroiduk.org.uk or you can use the contact form on the main website here
How I read the guidelines is that we are allowed to give vague advice on buying stuff eg 'try online' or 'if you are in Greece or Turkey' or 'I believe they have a social media presence' but posting a link or the name of a company, or the address of a pharmacy in Greece or 'they have a facebook page' is too specific. Anything more specific is fine via private message but not on the forum.
Correct me if I'm wrong!
I think that's totally reasonable.
