I've had too take erfa for a few months whilst sorting out my script to get wp....I take 4 1/2 grains a day......

When I get my WP if I do a straight swop I believe I will be taking the equivalent of 5 grains as wp is stronger.can someone help me understand how much more it is and what I should do? Xxx

TanyaKing, Might be better to start on 4 grains WP. It has more active ingredient than Erfra and is stronger. Another member felt overmedicated when she switched from Erfa to WP.

One grain Erfa (60mg) contains 35mcg T4 and 8mcg T3. WP one grain (65mg) has 38mcg T4 and 9mcg T3.

Thank you clutter ,

I'm not optimum yet and still increasing by a half every 6-8 weeks,I'm due an increase now....so if I take the 4 1/2 of wp when I get it next week that will be like going up a half grain amount ...won't it? In struggling with my head trying to work all this out.x

Tanyaking, yes, taking 4.5 grains WP will be almost equivalent 5 grains Erfa.
